About Dean
Every person has a light within them.
I'm Dean Maynard, and I live in Maine.
I spent years in a dark place, avoiding people and getting through things alone. I came out of it when I realized I can choose which thoughts I let in, and I started focusing on the good.
My two cats, Kevin and Tony, helped me climb out. Seeing how pure their hearts are made me try to think and feel the same way.
I love Maine: the woods, the lakes, the mountains, and the stars at Height of Land. I hold our veterans, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders in the highest respect.
My mission is to spread the light in a world full of darkness. So every week I sit down and talk: my story, what I've learned, things people should know about, what's going on in the world, and the movies and music that lift me up.
